Jesse is in LA for a couple of days meeting with people about future projects.
"Dancing at the Blue Iguana" opened October 17th in seven theaters. It stars Daryl Hannah, Jennifer Tilly, and Sandra Oh and tells the stories of a group of women who work at a strip club. The director, Michael Radford, best know as the writer/director of Oscar winning film Il Postino, used an innovative approach to making the film. Within certain guidelines, he allowed each actor to improvize their own dialog, characters, and storyline and then wove that into a coherent film. Intrigued with the process, Jesse wanted to be a part of it but could only spare a weekend away from classes, so his part of Jorge is small. He has two nice scenes.
"Spencer" has been re-renamed "According to Spencer". It debuted at the AFI Film Festival (American Film Institute) on November 2nd, but there is no word on a general release date.
Jesse has appeared in several magazines recently. Look for him, with his head shaved, in the Fall issue of Flaunt Magazine here and here. He's also in the September issue of Cosmopolitan and there are two shots of Jesse in a recent issue of Australia's "Dolly" magazine here and here. For future coverage check "Paper" magazine and the next issue of "Contents" in which he also writes a short article. Here's a shot by Blake Little from the "Advocate" feature.
As we've attempted to put this site back together, we've made some mistakes in writing the code. Please email us about any bad links or other problems. Thanks!
Our webhost, Crosswinds.net, had equipment that was lost in the World Trade Center attack, and, except for a few days, has been down ever since. The entire site was lost. The files, the /Pages, the pictures had to be found, updated, and uploaded to Crossroads's new equipment. We are still rebuilding, but most of it is back, and the scanner is working again. Some changes have been made, and some new shots added. We thank everyone for their patience and support, and all those who offered to help.
We realize our troubles pale beside the losses felt by the many victims of the September 11th attacks, and we continue to offer them our sympathies and join them in rebuilding.
We'll update you on Jesse news soon, with some new shots added.
God Bless America.
Jesse and his family are deeply saddened by the tragedies that have struck New York City and Washington DC, and they offer their condolences to the families and friends of those who perished. We thank the fans who have expressed concern for Jesse's safety, and we want to assure them that he and his parents are fine.
Jesse is back in NYC, after attending the official US premiere of "Speedway Junky" in LA on August 27th. It starts out August 31 at just one theater in Los Angeles, and, if it does well, it will roll out from there. For the theater address, a new review, and roll out plans click here. You can view the new "Junky" trailer here. More play-date rumors here. We understand that "Dancing at the Blue Iguana" will be released in a similar way at the end of October.
Here's the trailer for "Spencer" in either 100 mb or 56 mb formats.
We've added a couple more links to Jesse sites:

Look for Jesse in the new issue of "Flaunt" magazine and in an upcoming issue of "Paper". Also check for a photo on page 352 of the September "Cosmopolitan".

swimfan85 wrapped shooting the end of June. We have more snapshots from the set here. We've added a couple of other Shiri links, and an Erika link, too.
The next day, Jesse had to return to LA for photo shoots with "Flaunt Magazine", "In Style", and "Content". This month, check out Jesse in "Seventeen" and "Cosmo Girl".
Speedway Junky now may open August 31.
Jesse traded "Bring It On"'s famous "Clash" T-shirt with wardrobe for a pair of shorts, but you can order an "F Train" T-shirt here.
We've now seen "Dancing at the Blue Iguana", and Jesse has two nice scenes in it. He took just two days off from college to shoot it, so it's only a small role.
This summer, if he has time, Jesse may be playing guitar in a few clubs in NYC and LA. Stay tuned for dates and venues.
We got to visit Jesse on the set of "swimfan85", and we took some snapshots. Check them out and check out Shiri's link there, too.
A second page of pictures has been added to "A Soldier's Daughter Never Cries". Page #1 and Page #2.
Premieres has been added on the Images page.
Once again, feel free to download any pictures you want for yourself, but please don't publish the pictures elsewhere. Thanks.
With a correct answer to question #1, Ashley is the winner of the second of the two signed, original photographs of Jesse. It was not the answer we expected. Ashley pointed out that they both appeared in the same soap opera. It's true, in 1986 they both acted in "Guiding Light". They may have worked together, then, and they may even have done commercials together. Strangely, Sarah has also done a different "King of the Hill" and a different "Spencer". But we were looking for the Film in which they had scenes together. That film was "Funny Farm" in which they both played "Madolyn Smith's Students". Their scenes were cut out of the final film.
Our thanks go to all those who entered. We'll have another trivia contest soon.
Lots of News!
Penny is the winner of one of the two signed, original photographs of Jesse with the correct answer to question #2. It was Adrien Brody who appeared in both movies. Question #1 remains unanswered, and the prize unclaimed. Let's have some guesses. E-mail us.
Jesse is filming "swimfan85" in Brooklyn. We hope to visit the set soon.
It looks as though "Speedway Junky" will finally be released in the USA. We've heard of various release dates from July 20th to August 3rd, and people have also seen trailer. Look for it at a few multi-multi-plexes or small indie, art houses.
Jesse and Jordan Brower are on the cover of two current magazines, "The Advocate" and "Genre", and they are interviewed inside about "Speedway Junky".
We thank Jason for giving us a RealPlayer file of a trailer used to advertise the "Rainmaker" episode of "Tribeca" on Fox.
Jesse challenges the astrologists in "Teen People" and "ClockStoppers" is previewed in "Scifi"
Two new "Spencer" websites have opened, and several new Links have been added.
Jesse began filming "swimfan85" in New Jersey last Monday.
And with this picture of Jesse at the Vanity Fair Party after the Oscars comes a reminder. You can download any pictures you want from this site for yourself, but please don't publish the pictures elsewhere. Thanks.
Movieline's Young Hollywood Awards has given Jesse an award as this year's "Exciting New Face"!
Starring with Jesse in "swimfan85" are Erika Christensen ("Traffic") and Shiri Appleby("Rozwell")
We have two prints of this recently auctioned ebay picture of Jesse for each of the first two people to answer one of the following difficult trivia questions.
Only one answer for each question per person, and only one prize per person.
It looks like Jesse's next movie will be "Swimfan85" (working title), in which he plays a competitive swimmer. Jesse is training for it now and shooting begins early next month in and around New York City.
Jesse has wrapped "ClockStoppers"
We're back, and we're sick, and we're swamped with all the stuff that we should have spent the last month doing. It was great seeing Jesse, and we've put up some shots from our trip on "ClockStoppers". It will be a while before we can do something better with them. We should also have shots from "Spencer" (aka "Melora") and more "Junky" and "Clockstopper" shots, too.
We hope everyone received their personally autographed posters. Unfortunately, we may not see Jesse again until next summer or fall, so he won't be signing any more for a while. We're sorry if you missed the deadline.
Look for Jesse at tonight's SAG awards. He's going with his friend, Leelee Sobiesky ("A Soldier's Daughter Never Cries") who will be a presenter.
We'll soon let you know where to find Jesse next in print, and there has been a change in Jesse's fan mail address.
He's now back with the William Morris Agency. His new address is:
If anyone has Jesse's picture from "Hot! Magazine" please help us out and send us a scan or print of it. To see a snapshot of it, click here
Great News. We're flying to Los Angeles on Saturday 2/17/01 and will visit Jesse while we're out there. We hope to bring back plenty of pictures and news about "ClockStoppers". So Friday is your last chance to request a personally signed poster before we go, and this site becomes "listed". Check the Autographs link for details.
Also a little seen movie, "The Boys", with Jesse at ten years old in a small part playing James Wood's son, airs Sunday night on the PAX network.
"Entertainment Weekly" has given "Cherry Falls" an A-, calling the video it's Discovery of the Week. Click here to see the review.
Look for "Bring It On" just coming out on video and DVD.
Starring with Jesse in "ClockStoppers" are Paula Garces ("Guiding Light"), French Stewart ("3rd Rock"), Julia Sweeny ("Saturday Night Live"), and Robin Thomas ("The Contender").
I understand that "Cherry Falls" is now out on video and DVD. The gory scenes, shown in foreign theaters, were largely cut out of the USA cable version but have supposedly been restored in the video version. It allegedly has the longest killing scene of any other horror film ever. We don't know if that's a good thing, but it is by Geoffrey Wright, the award winning writer/director of "Romper Stomper", Russell Crowe's breakout film.
Jesse spent this past weekend at the Sundance Film Festival where he presented the Lifetime Achievement award to the producer of "ClockStoppers", Gale Anne Hurd. She also produced "Terminator" and "T2", "Tremors", and "Aliens" to name a few greats.
"Clockstoppers" is now filming. Jonathan Frakes is the director. He's well known from the Star Trek series in which he plays Commander Riker. He's also directed many of the Star Trek movies.
Jesse just wrapped "Admiring Melora". Apparently other titles are being considered one of which may be "I Love Spencer Gold". He starts "ClockStoppers" rehearsals today.
