Jesse's Fanmail Address has changed!

Jesse has just joined a new agency, United Talent Agency, or UTA. Among many other changes, Jesse's fan mail address is now different. Please direct all fan mail to:

Our apologies once more for the reduced size of this site. Our website host went down again last year. It had previously crashed on 9/11 with The World Trade Center. As many fans of Jesse remember, the site had over 100 pages and many more pictures accessible through the News pages and "backdoor" links. News 2004 remains complete, but it will be a while if ever before all of those earlier pages are restored.

Sorry it's taken so long to update Jesse's News Page. We have transferred over to new servers which are backed up and will not easily crash (so we have been promised). If I can decipher the new File Manager, this should allow us to restore some pre-crash pages. Stay tuned.

Foremost in the minds and hearts of most of us is concern for both the animals and people along the Gulf Coast still suffering from the devastation of hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and Tammi in North Carolina. Also suffering are the victims of Hurricane Stan in Mexico and of other recent hurricanes to hit Taiwan, China, and other countries. Donations will continue to be welcomed and needed by the American Red Cross to help victims worldwide.

Scientists for the most part are in agreement that Global Warming is at least in part responsible for the severity of recent storms. Global Warming is caused by the rising level of "Greenhouse Gases" most notably Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere, and we as individuals are each partly responsible because it is the things we do that produce and release these gases. One of the primary activities that produces largest amounts of CO2 is driving your car. Now there is an orginization called Terrapass that addresses this problem directly and allows everyone to responsibly lower their personal output of Carbon Dioxide. The money from each Terrapass purchased is used to fund alternative "green" sources of power or CO2 removal to save an amount of "Greenhouse Gases" equivilent to that which you are producing with your car, but better yet, click on the link, let them explain, and join.

In other news, Jesse's cousin, Jonathan Svec has just returned from a tour of the Middle East entertaining the troops with his band, Edison. Click the link for their website complete with band news and samples of the songs. Their new CD is now available.

Jessica was the winner of the "Mirror" contest and received her prize of two movie posters signed by Jesse. The count was up to at least eleven films.

  Lots of news!!!

  Jesse will star with Ryan Phillippe and Adam Beach in a new film Flags of our Fathers. Oscar winners Clint Eastwood and Steven Speilberg will direct and produce it. The battle for Iwo Jima provides The story, based on the best selling novel, centers on the men who raised the American flag over Iwo Jima after the bloodiest battle of World War II in the Pacific. Read about the battle here and here. Shooting begins next month in Iceland.

  Get ready for "Heights", Jesse's newest film, ready to hit theaters on June 17th. You can view the trailer here. Here's the poster...

  Again apologies. Our ISP went down again. This makes four times since the September 11th tragedy first brought it down. Unfortunately, we have a six years to go on our ten year web hosting deal, or we would contract another company to host this site.

  We've just returned from visiting with Jesse in LA, and we will have a lot of news to post as soon as we get the site up and running again.

  Many links and pictures won't be back up for a while, but we will slowly try to restore them. Thanks for your patience!

  Those who watched the "Independent Spirit Awards" know that Jesse performed with Michelle Trachtenberg and not Evan Rachel Wood who had fallen ill.

  Here's a shot of them performing together.

  We're on our way out to LA and hope to come back with news and pictures for the update next month.

  Jesse will be performing live with Evan Rachel Wood at the Independent Spirit Awards February 26th. He will play the guitar and sing a bit as part of a parody skit. Both Bravo Network and IFC are televising the event. The Red Carpet begins at 9PM EST and the Awards start at 10PM. IFC has Spirit Award coverage at 6PM and both networks air it again the following days. Check local listings.

  Unfortunately, the showing of "Heights" at the Berlin Film Festival was canceled the day before Jesse was scheduled to fly to Germany, apparently because Glenn Close was suddenly unable to attend.

  Jesse spent the holidays on the East Coast this year. He celebrated New Years at his NYC club, NA, where Flava Flave and Fat Joe performed. Check out Wireimage.com for pictures from that night.

  "Eulogy" will be out on video February 8th. It's very funny.

  Jesse goes to the "Sundance Film Festival" in mid January to support two films opening there... the Merchant/Ivory film, "Heights" and Don Roos' film "Happy Endings". There's more about "Happy Endings" here
